This might give an idea as to how the house "sits" on the side of the hill. We sort of carved a step out of the rock and clay layer. It makes for a very stable seat, or at least, so far, so good. As you can see by the flag, most of the materials were imported from Canada. Below, is the house with siding and without scaffloding. It kind of sticks out here surrounded by many more traditional structures.
